Great Wall

The Great Wall was one of the major projects undertaken by the first emperor–Qin Shi Huangdi. Qin Shihuang has torn down walls that separated between different states but extended the existing walls that separate Qin Empire from the nomadic Xiongnu of the Steppe.

These following four illustrations were drawn from the book The Great Wall of China by Tim McNeese.

The following map shows the walls built during the Warring Kingdoms.
